We provide independent consulting services that are centered on Australian Standards, Building Codes Australia compliance and legislated/regulatory framework governing accessibility, environmental, security, acoustic and engineering to support project compliance and reduce defect and non-compliance regarding door openings, doors, frames, door hardware, electromechanical locking and security access control.
AHC lessens your early non-compliance risk
Early involvement is essential to lessening non-compliance risks associated with door openings. In direct consultation with our client AHC assesses the proposed door openings to determine the specific functional requirements of the project. These functional requirements are then assessed for suitability between the documented reports of interrelated disciplines such as Security, Fire Egress, Accessibility and Acoustic. Recommendations and/or suggested changes may be required for compliance and is made as part of the AHC consultation process.
Proposed frame types and door types are assessed for compliant height, width and materials.
Proposed frame types and door types are assessed for compliant height, width and materials. Such factors as Acoustic Values, Fire rated Values and Wind Loadings all form part of this process. They are also assessed as suitable for placement of all required door hardware, acoustic seals, panic exit devices and electro-mechanical security access control devices.
Our fees are commensurate with the percentage of project construction value and/or an agreed scope of works.
